Formal ATP Application
The training provider starts the approval process by submitting its organization details and the training scope it wants IBSS™ to approve.
IBSS™ Approved Training Provider approval is a structured, evidence-led process designed to confirm that a training provider has the people, controls, resources and quality systems needed to deliver within an approved scope.
An approved ATP is expected to operate only within the scope granted by IBSS™, maintain competent trainers and appropriate resources, follow applicable delivery and assessment requirements, retain required records, and cooperate with monitoring and renewal.
The goal is simple: give learners, employers and stakeholders greater confidence that IBSS™ training is being delivered through a provider operating under defined quality controls.
The process begins when the provider submits its ATP application. Each stage leads directly to the next, with a documented review and outcome before approval becomes active.
The training provider starts the approval process by submitting its organization details and the training scope it wants IBSS™ to approve.
IBSS™ checks that the application contains enough information and evidence to proceed to the formal quality and technical evaluation.
The provider is assessed against the applicable ATP requirements to determine whether its people, systems and delivery controls are suitable for the requested scope.
If gaps are identified, IBSS™ records the findings and the applicant provides corrective action and evidence showing that the required controls have been implemented.
The completed review file is considered for a documented decision that defines whether approval is granted and exactly what scope, conditions or limitations apply.
Once approved, the provider receives its ATP status and the controls needed to begin approved IBSS™ training delivery within the granted scope.
Active ATPs remain subject to quality monitoring so IBSS™ can confirm that approved delivery continues to meet the requirements attached to the current scope.
Before continued approval or a requested expansion is confirmed, IBSS™ reviews current performance, compliance and any proposed changes to programs, sites or delivery methods.
Monitoring and renewal protect the integrity of the approved scope and create a continuous quality cycle for active training partners.
The exact evidence depends on the requested scope, but an ATP review should demonstrate that quality is built into the provider's operation—not added only for the application.
Legal entity, responsible management, defined roles, accountability, integrity and authorization to operate.
Trainer qualifications, occupational competence, instructional capability, current experience and approval for assigned delivery.
Suitable classrooms, practical areas, equipment, technology, accessibility, safety and learning resources for the approved delivery mode.
Use of current materials, lesson structure, attendance, learner identity, delivery records and controls for online or blended learning where applicable.
Assessment security, invigilation, marking, internal quality assurance, malpractice controls, appeals and reliable result records where applicable.
Clear joining information, fair access, learner guidance, complaints routes, feedback and support throughout the learning experience.
Controlled learner, trainer, assessment and quality records with appropriate retention, confidentiality, accuracy and availability for review.
Monitoring, internal review, complaints, feedback, corrective actions, trend analysis and evidence that weaknesses are identified and improved.
An ATP approval decision should identify exactly what has been approved and under what conditions. Approval does not automatically extend to every course, branch, trainer, country or delivery method operated by the provider.
Requirements satisfied for the defined scope.
Approval proceeds subject to documented controls or actions.
Further evidence or corrective action is required before a final approval decision.
Applicable requirements have not been sufficiently demonstrated.
ATP status gives an approved provider a structured position within the IBSS™ training ecosystem while creating clearer controls for learners, clients and the provider itself.
Demonstrate that your organization has completed an IBSS™ review for a defined training scope and maintains an active partner relationship.
Where implemented within the IBSS™ register, stakeholders can check the provider's current ATP status and approved scope rather than relying only on marketing claims.
Deliver the IBSS™ programs specifically included in your approved scope using the applicable controlled requirements and materials.
Use the approval framework to strengthen trainer controls, learner records, assessment integrity, complaints handling and continuous improvement.
Present a clearer quality proposition to learners and organizational clients by showing the exact scope for which your training operation is approved.
Use authorized ATP wording and approved IBSS™ identity in line with current brand and scope rules, helping reduce misleading or inconsistent claims.
Operate against defined expectations with monitoring feedback, corrective-action requirements and a structured route for maintaining compliance.
Build an evidence base that can support requests for additional approved programs, delivery modes or locations through controlled scope-change review.
Approval remains meaningful only while the approved provider continues to meet the applicable requirements. IBSS™ may request evidence or conduct monitoring activity throughout the approval period.
